FIVE ALIVE! Friday, September 30 at 8:00pm in the Franklin Park Arts Center in Purcellville, VA! You won't want to miss it when Moonlit in the Sun selects one adult volunteer from the audience for a five-minute crash course on how to play the violin. The lucky volunteer will then audition with the quartet to see if they have what it takes to make us a quintet! Our concert will include Five greats: Dave Brubeck's famous "Take Five", Mozart's well-loved "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik", Joplin, Handel, and Gershwin! Featuring our string quartet: Violinist, Frank Perrachia; Violinist, Alban Deniz; Violist, Carla Deniz, and Cellist, Valerie Wride. Tickets: $12 Adult, $5 Youth 18 and under. Enhance any event with live music! We provide the perfect ambience to any special occasion. Our ensemble includes flute, violins, viola, piano, or cello. From flute solos, violin duos and piano solos to trios, quartets, and quintets we do it all! We provide the romance and softness of a moonlit night as well as the beauty and joy of a sun-filled morning.

Classical, Ragtime, Standards

We play many of the most popular classical favorites, from Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms as well as some lesser-known pieces that we think you'll enjoy hearing.

In addition to classical favorites, we also play ragtime selections, such as Scott Joplin's The Entertainer and Maple Leaf Rag. We also perform pop/jazz favorites, including Moon River, Stormy Weather, theme from Kismet, and Duke Ellington's Caravan.
